Creative fatigue: why your ads suddenly get expensive

How to read frequency, engagement decay and rising costs — and intervene in time.

1

Learn to read the symptoms

The first signal of creative fatigue is not rising cost but a falling click-through rate. Once frequency passes three and CTR drops more than twenty percent, the creative has run its course.

At that point refreshing the creative beats raising bids; otherwise you simply pay more to reach the same people.

2

Build a refresh cycle

Schedule at least two new creatives per week. Even producing the same message in different formats delays fatigue noticeably.

Tecrube watches the frequency and engagement curves, then produces new creatives and starts the test automatically once the threshold is crossed.
