Manage your WordPress site with AI from a chat
On your self-hosted WordPress, whichever host it runs on, you install a single plugin, connect it to your Tecrube account with one click and manage everything from Claude or ChatGPT: create and edit posts and pages, upload images, install and update plugins and themes, change settings, even update core. Every change passes through your approval, is written to an audit log, and an automatic restore point is taken before risky operations.

What you can do
Works on any self-hosted WordPress
If your WordPress runs on your own host, whichever host that is, you install the one plugin and start. You are not tied to a particular hosting provider or an extra paid plan; you add the plugin to the site you already own and press Connect.
Not just content, the whole site
Create and edit posts and pages, upload images, organise categories and tags, manage users; and also install, activate, update and delete plugins and themes, change site settings, update WordPress core. The whole of day-to-day administration runs from chat.
Every change with your approval
Nothing touches your live site until you approve it; every request first arrives as a preview of what will be done. Every operation is written to the audit log inside your WordPress, so you can always see what was done and when.
Automatic safety net
Before every risky operation, such as updating or deleting a plugin, switching themes or updating core, a restore point is taken. Content edits use WordPress's built-in revisions, so a bad edit is never permanent.
Understands your site's style
It can see your theme, colours, fonts and the decisions you have made, so when it writes or updates something the result looks like it belongs to your site rather than pasted onto it. It reads the tone of your existing posts and drafts in that voice.
Secure by design
One-click OAuth connection, encrypted token, enforced HTTPS, a timestamp and replay protection on every request. You control the operation-group permissions: if you like, switch off plugin, theme or settings access entirely and limit the AI to content.
Set up in 60 seconds
Add the connector
In Claude go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector; in ChatGPT enable developer mode. Paste https://mcp.tecrube.com/mcp.
Sign in with Google and authorise the account
A hosted OAuth screen opens; you authorise the ad account you want to connect once. No API keys, tokens or server setup.
Ask in plain English
Type “show me the last 7 days” and the numbers come back in seconds. Any command that changes something returns a preview first.

- Update the About page: replace the old address with the new one and fix the two broken links.
- Which plugins have updates? Update them one by one and tell me if anything breaks afterwards.
- Find the post about shipping times and add a short FAQ section at the bottom.
- List WooCommerce products with stock below 5 and set the price of “Linen Shirt” to $49; show me the preview first.
- Show the last 10 comments awaiting moderation; approve the genuine ones and mark the rest as spam.

Frequently asked questions
A normal self-hosted WordPress (5.6 or later) on any hosting provider is enough. Install the Tecrube Connector plugin, click Connect, and you are set. No extra hosting account or other paid plan is required.
It writes. It creates and edits posts and pages, uploads images, manages categories, tags and users, installs, activates, updates and deletes plugins and themes, changes settings and updates core. Reading is there too, but the point is real changes, all with your approval.
Yes, it is built to stay safe. Every write runs as a preview (dry-run) first and nothing is applied without your approval. Budget increases are capped at 50% per step, and every applied change is written to an audit log. On top of that, an automatic restore point is taken before every risky operation, and you can switch off whole operation groups; for example allow content and media but block plugin, theme and settings changes.
Install the plugin, open it and click “Connect to Tecrube”. You approve a single OAuth screen with the same account and the connection is made. You never paste an API key or token anywhere.
Claude and ChatGPT, plus other MCP-compatible apps. The connector address is the same as for the other platforms: https://mcp.tecrube.com/mcp. You manage your WordPress from the assistant you already use.
Yes. Product, stock, price and order queries and product updates are included from the Starter package, and WP-CLI tools come in the same package. Every write such as a price or stock change is previewed and applied with your approval.
There are three: Starter for one connected site, Plus for up to 5 sites, Max for up to 25 sites with priority support. All include posts, pages, media, plugins, themes, settings, WP-CLI and WooCommerce tools with approved changes. It is also offered as an add-on inside the account for ad customers.
Content edits use WordPress's built-in revision history, so every change can be undone. Riskier operations such as plugin, theme and core updates take an automatic restore point first, and nothing runs until you approve. You stay in control at every step.
Yes. Open the WordPress tab in your Tecrube dashboard and press Remove next to the site you no longer want to manage. The connection closes and the site slot in your package frees up, so you can connect another site right away. Nothing changes on the removed site and no content is deleted.
