A Claude MCP server for Google Ads: one address into your live account
A hosted server that gives Claude a single address into your Google Ads account: CPA diagnostics, negative cleanup, new ad copy. Writes wait for your approval.

Why MCP is a paradigm shift
The Model Context Protocol is a common language for a language model to talk to outside systems. Before it, every integration meant a separate plugin, a separate API key and a separate setup. With MCP you give Claude one server address; the server describes the tools it offers and Claude calls them when needed.
Tecrube is the hosted form of that protocol for Google Ads. You do not run the server; you add the address to Claude and link your Google account with OAuth. No developer token, no API project, no local install.
LLM-first PPC management: what Claude can do in your account
On the read side: campaign, ad group and keyword performance, the search terms report, change history, the state of conversion actions, Quality Score components. These spend no credits and need no approval. For “find out why CPA rose in the last two weeks”, Claude reads bidding, search term and conversion data together and names the most likely cause.
On the write side: adding negatives, changing budgets, pausing campaigns, creating a new RSA, building a campaign. Each follows preview → approve → apply. Single-step budget increases above fifty percent are rejected and every change is written to the audit log.
The approval gate lives on the server
The distinction matters: the approval mechanism is on the Tecrube server, not inside Claude. Even if you tell Claude to “always allow” a tool, no write is applied without a preview. A misread sentence, a typo or an over-interpretation by the model passes your eyes before it reaches your account.
There is no gate on reads; asking for a report, running an audit or listing objects returns immediately.
From ad data to SEO, in the same connector
The search terms report in Google Ads is the most honest list of which phrases bring sales. Because Search Console sits in the same connector, “find the terms that convert but where I do not rank organically” is answered in one chat, and the result is a priority list of content to write.
The reverse holds too: running a search ad for queries sitting on page two in Search Console, until the page climbs, is a previewed build request in the same conversation.
It works beyond Claude
The same server address works in ChatGPT as a custom connector, in Claude Code through the claude mcp add command and in Cursor through a single mcpServers block in mcp.json. Because the Google authorisation is tied to your Tecrube account it is done once; switching clients needs no new grant.
Alongside Google Ads, your Meta, Microsoft, TikTok and LinkedIn ad accounts plus GA4, Tag Manager, YouTube and Business Profile sit behind the same address.
Getting started
The free account gives 75 credits that never expire; no card is needed. The connector address is shown in your /app panel. Pro is $49 a month for a single account, Agency $99 a month for every client under an MCC, and Enterprise starts at $299 for teams. The connection can be removed from the panel in one click; your data is read only from the accounts you connected.
We suggest opening the first session with a diagnostic question: “find the three issues costing my account the most budget this month”. The answer shows at once what the server can see in your account and which tools it uses.
An example diagnostic conversation
Say cost per conversion on an ecommerce account rose sharply over two weeks. First question: “find out why CPA increased over the last 14 days; look at bidding strategy, search terms, conversion actions and competition.” Claude reads all four areas and reports, for instance, that a new competitor started bidding on your brand terms and that one conversion action has received no data for three days.
Second question: “check the conversion action that is getting no data on the GA4 side.” Because GA4 shares the connector, Claude sees the event is not firing on the site. The fix goes to the technical team; meanwhile it suggests holding the campaign budget steady so Smart Bidding does not learn the wrong lesson.
The whole conversation consists of reads and spends no credits. The only write is updating the brand campaign's bid target, and that passes through preview and approval.
Doing the same diagnosis by hand would mean opening four reports in Google Ads, an event screen in GA4 and the auction insights. In chat the questions follow one another and each answer builds on the last.
