LinkedIn Ads MCP: LinkedIn's official route versus Tecrube
The first question from anyone wanting to run LinkedIn Ads from an AI assistant is usually: does LinkedIn have its own MCP? At the time of writing, the route we found in public documentation is building your own integration on the LinkedIn Marketing API; check LinkedIn's docs for the current state.
Tecrube delivers that work ready-made: add the hosted connector to Claude or ChatGPT, authorise your LinkedIn account, and manage campaigns, audiences and creatives in the same chat through a preview-and-approve flow.

The official route: writing your own server
Building an MCP server on the LinkedIn Marketing API is possible, but the developer application, access approval, OAuth flow, hosting and maintenance are yours. A fair path for technical teams building internal tools.
Most marketing teams, though, are asking: “why did spend on the marketing manager title rise this week?” That should not require writing a server.
What Tecrube changes
You describe the campaign in plain English: target titles, industries, company size, budget. Tecrube shows the draft as a preview; approve and it is created. Demographic reports come in the chat, no CSV export.
- Create campaign groups, campaigns and creatives
- Build audiences by title, industry, company and skill
- Budget and bid changes, at most 50% increase per step
- Demographic reports by title and company
Which should you choose?
- Choose the official API route if you want to build your own internal agent, control the data model fully and own the maintenance.
- Choose Tecrube if you want to manage LinkedIn Ads today without setup, see it in the same table as Google and Meta, and pass every change through the approval gate.
One example
Command: “Draft a campaign for marketing managers at software companies with 200+ employees in the UK; daily budget $150.”
On the official route you first write the integration. In Tecrube the draft arrives as a preview, is created on approval and written to the audit log.
