Connecting

Do I need to install anything on my computer?

No. Tecrübe is a hosted MCP server; you add the URL to your client and sign in in the browser.

Which assistants does it work with?

Claude (web, desktop, mobile, Claude Code), ChatGPT (Developer Mode, paid plan), Cursor, VS Code, Gemini CLI and any other MCP client that supports Streamable HTTP + OAuth 2.1.

Where is my API key?

There is none. The assistant connection uses only OAuth 2.1 + PKCE. The OpenAI Ads API key for ChatGPT Ads and the WordPress application password are entered only in the panel, never given to the assistant.

Can I connect several assistants at once?

Yes. Each client receives its own token; they are listed and revoked separately in the panel.

Security

Can the assistant change a budget without me knowing?

No. Write tools produce a preview and wait; approve_action can be called only after you explicitly approve. Even when approved, a budget increase beyond 50% per step or twice the starting budget in 24 hours is not applied.

How do I undo a wrong change?

Say "undo the last change": list_recent_actions finds the record and undo_action sends the reverse request to the platform. Operations with no reverse come back explicitly as "not undoable".

Where is my data kept?

Platform tokens are stored encrypted in Tecrübe; chat content is not stored. Details: Security & Approval.

Credits

Do free-plan credits renew every month?

No; free credits are a single lifetime pack. Monthly renewing credits are on paid plans.

Do I lose credits when a tool fails?

No. A failed call's credits are refunded and the refund shows in the usage log.

Why do SEO tools need separate credits?

Backlink and AI-citation tools make real paid requests to DataForSEO, so they are billed in prepaid SEO credits and you pay only for research that actually ran.

Coverage

Can I set up Demand Gen or App campaigns?

No. Those campaign types, Merchant Center, Meta product catalogs and automatic click-fraud detection are not in this release.

I have several Google Ads accounts; how do I switch?

List them with list_google_ads_accounts and pick one with select_google_ads_account; client accounts under an MCC are included. See Multi-account.

Is the plugin required for WordPress?

No; content tools work with an application password. Plugin/theme/settings/command tools and rollback from zip backups need the Tecrübe Connector plugin.
