Credits & Usage
Every tool call spends a few credits: reads are cheap, live changes cost more. Lifetime credits on the free plan, monthly renewing credits on paid plans; failed calls are refunded.
How credits work
Credits are Tecrübe's unit of measure. Each tool has a fixed cost that the assistant also sees in the tool list (_meta.tecrube/credits); on the tool pages in these docs it is shown next to every tool.
| Operation type | Typical cost | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Read | 1 credit | get_status, list_campaigns, ga4_overview |
| Report / research | 2–3 credits | search_terms_report, account_audit, research |
| Preparing a change (preview) | 2 credits | update_campaign, set_budget, add_negative_keywords |
| Approved live application | 5 credits | approve_action |
| Free | 0 credits | connect_account, reject_action |
Credits by plan
- Free plan: a one-time credit pack valid for life. It does not renew monthly; when it runs out usage stops, your account and connections stay.
- Paid plans (Pro, Agency): a credit pool that renews every month; the counter resets at the start of the month and unused credits do not carry over. The Agency tier has unlimited credits.
- Enterprise: monthly credits per seat; seats are the number of members in the account.
For what each plan includes and current prices see Plans and the pricing page.
Refund on failed calls
Credits are checked before a call starts and charged after it finishes. If the tool errors (provider error, dropped connection, invalid parameter) that call's credits are not charged; the usage log shows the cost and the refund together. If the provider answered and the result is a "not connected" note, that is a successful call and is charged.
SEO Intelligence credits
Backlink and AI-citation tools that go to DataForSEO are billed in separately purchased prepaid SEO credits, not plan credits. They appear with 0 plan credits on the tool pages; the real cost is in the description. See SEO Intelligence.
Tracking usage
The Usage screen in the panel shows spending per tool, refunds and remaining credits. The get_status tool also brings the current plan and credit state into chat. You get an email when credits run low.
